The Gasping Light

Your team has been hired as auxiliary crew for a Darkstone Conglomerates research pod. The pod is currently researching the anomalous point of light on the edge of known space, the Radiant Nexus. An alien station made of glass surrounds the Nexus which a sect of strange monks inhabits. All those who wish to enter the station must wear "Blind Suits" by religious decree. Blind Suits block all perception of other human beings so the beauty and joy of the Radiant Nexus may be witnessed untainted. As you arrive it seems that the point of light is pulsating in and out, as if it is breathing...

The Gasping Light is a one shot adventure for use in the Mothership sci-fi horror RPG. 

This adventure is easily playable in a 3-6 hour session. It works great as a standalone adventure or as part of a larger campaign.  The Gasping Light tasks the players with surviving an alien space station gone mad as the eldritch light is unleashed. 

This module includes:

9 locations inside of the alien space station.

4 NPCs to act as friends or foes to the player's escape plans.

A random encounter table with "witnessable" and "unwitnessable" encounters for players who are or are not wearing "Blind Suits".

3 random tables of items, horrific monk mutilations, and strange phrases uttered by the mad. 

An ancient warning that the players may heed or not, it is their choice.
